Volunteering is an exciting way for you, your friends and colleagues to give back to the community and make a real difference. JARI offers volunteering opportunities in many areas of the organisation including snorkelling and swimming education, conservation initiatives, community projects and research.
Volunteering with JARI is a rewarding experience and a great opportunity to see how our programs are helping in communities across Lombok and Sumbawa.
We have a number of opportunities to assist with JARI’s day-to-day activities including assisting in the management and implementation of our education and conservation programs. We are always looking for individuals or groups with a passion for marine conservation and who are motivated to create sustainable change within the local community.
In addition to our regular volunteering, JARI is always on the lookout for skilled volunteers, once off, part time or full time, to help us grow as an organisation. Skilled volunteering is best suited to community-minded businesses looking for staff volunteering opportunities or individuals with industry experience.
Are you a recent graduate looking to get experience in your study area? JARI is always on the lookout for fresh talent to help us in our work. Volunteering provides an opportunity to use your knowledge and get valuable career experience at the same time.
